C-ESTA Review

Overview

The C-ESTA line of products is one of many product lines from the manufacturing and development company Jan Marini. As the name implies, the C-ESTA line focuses heavily on formulating products around the key ingredient Vitamin C. The manufacturers claim that Vitamin C is essential to many aspects of healthy skin, and that it can help rebuild damaged skin and protect the skin from further damage from free radicals and UV rays.

However, there are many products on the market that claim to make use of vitamin C to fight wrinkles. C-ESTA claims that their products use proprietary formulations to ensure “optimum skin absorption, stabilization and adequate activity levels.” The full C-ESTA line consists of: cream, eye cream, repair concentrate, a face mask, cleansing gel, lip products, hand and body cream, Perfection Foundation, serum and serum oil control. C-ESTA also has an anti-aging nutritional supplement called C-ESTAMINS that are meant to be taken once per day.

Product Details

The key ingredient in most of the C-ESTA line is a vitamin C mlocule called “Ascorbyl Palmitate.” The official website goes on to explain that this form of vitamin C is fat soluble, which sets it apart from many vitamin C products that use water soluble forms of the vitamin. The researchers at Jan Marini have apparently tested this molecule on cell cultures that were set up to mimic human cells and found that these cells repaired skin damage better and faster than non-treated cells. This molecule is also non-acidic (ph neutral) meaning that it is safe for use with other product, as well as on sensitive skin types. Some laser skin surgery technicians may even recommend an Ascorbyl Palmitate based product to aid with recovery.

The C-ESTA line also features an “antioxidant cocktail” that the manufacturer has named the DAE Complex that it claims will help stabilize the cell membrane. It stimulates the body’s Acetyl Choline production, which should lead to healther and firmer muscle tone. Additionally, the DAE Complex paves the way for the Ascorbyl Palmitate, allowing it to penetrate to deeper layers of skin cells.

Unfortunately, full ingredient lists are not given for any of the C-ESTA line products.

The Bottom Line

We can’t help but notice that the manufacturers of the C-ESTA line throw a lot of complicated terminology at you all at once. Jan Marini is a well-established company but they are heavily diversified, leading us to wonder how much time and money they can realistically devote to their anti-aging line of products. We’d probably look for a more dedicated anti-wrinkle product that is easier to get a hold of.
