Overview
The Age Advantage Wrinkle Reduction Cream is a product of Age Advantage Laboratories; a company that provides skin care, a variety of skin treatments and anti-aging supplements. In addition to addressing the visible signs of aging, this company also offers products to treat acne, scars, stretch marks and sun damage. The Age Advantage Laboratories website does not appear to offer the products for sale directly, which can be an inconvenience for consumers who want to learn about the company and products and make purchases at the same time. However, we were able to find some of the products for sale through online retailers, including the Age Advantage Wrinkle Reduction Cream.
The company website is fairly easy to navigate, with complete ingredient lists for all of the products readily available. We appreciate when a company provides this information to consumers, since it allows them to make educated decisions about the effectiveness and safety of the skin care products they choose. We are also pleased to see that Age Advantage Laboratories provides customer testimonials to back up the claims of the products. However, since the products are not available for purchase directly from the company, we were unable to find a policy about a money back guarantee if a customer wasn't happy with the purchase.
Product Details
Age Advantage Wrinkle Reduction appears to have two different formulas available for sale online; one with the patented wrinkle ingredient argireline and another without. Unfortunately, it appears to be much harder to locate the argireline formula for sale online, and retailers for the products seem to be few and far between across the country. The other ingredients in this formula include Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Emu Oil (Dromiceius), Glycolic Acid, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Squalane, Thioctic Acid (Alpha Lipoic Acid), Dimethyl MEA, Hydrolyzed Elastin, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, PEG-100 Stearate, Ubiquinone (Co-Enzyme Q-10), Allantoin, Panthenol, Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Disodium EDTA, Ethoxydiglycol, Hippophea, Hexylene Glycol, Phenoxethanol, Capryly Glycol.
We are happy to see that in addition to acetyl hexapeptide-8 (argireline), this product also contains hydrolyzed collagen. Collagen is a protein that is lost as we age, leading to sagging skin and the appearance of wrinkles. However, collagen is a much more effective anti-aging ingredient when it is combined with matrixyl, which can also stimulate the production of collagen by the skin. Unfortunately, the Age Advantage Wrinkle Reduction does not appear to contain matrixyl.
The Good
- The Age Advantage Wrinkle Reduction includes some proven anti-aging ingredients.
- The company provides customer testimonials to back up their claims.
The Bad
- The Age Advantage Wrinkle Reduction does not contain matrixyl.
- We were unable to find a money back guarantee for the product.
- It appears difficult to find the updated formula of the Age Advantage Wrinkle Reduction for sale.
The Bottom Line
While the Age Advantage Wrinkle Reduction does include some promising ingredients the lack of availability of the product may turn some people off. We believe that there are products more readily available that offer more effective ingredients than this formula.
