Overivew
The new product Ageless by the manufacturer Rejuvenate Worldwide is another anti-aging serum that is currently available online. It seems to be sold exclusively through the manufacturer’s website, and it does not seem to be available through any brick-and-mortar retail locations. Ageless claims to contain 12 fruit and vegetable extracts from around the world, and this is what the product formula is based around. But how well does this botanical approach to fighting wrinkles stand up to some of the many other options on the market that take advantage of cutting-edge lab engineers wrinkle fighters?
Unfortunately, the Ageless wrinkle fighting serum website is a bit of a mess. The single page mentions a few ingredients, but does nothing to explain how the product formula was researched and developed. The fact that Ageless won the “BEST SKIN CARE PRODUCT OF 2008” award is prominently featured front-and-centre, but we are not told anything about who presents this award (we’ve never head of it, and we like to think we’re pretty savvy when it comes to the wrinkle treatment marketplace.) The biggest selling point offered by the manufacturers of Ageless is that a free 30-day supply of the product is available as a trial offer for only the cost of shipping.
Product Details
By scanning the official Ageless web page, we learn that this product contains: Acai berry extract, Goji, Noni, Mangosteen and Pomegranate. No details are given on the other seven fruit or vegetable extracts that may be contained in Ageless. Also, a video that plays when you first enter the site mentions that ageless contains Collagen and Elastin, but again no pertinent details are given at all.
The 30-day supply free trial policy really seems to be the biggest selling point for Ageless. Subsequent shipments retail for $79.95 for a 30-day supply, which could add up pretty quickly. New users are given 15 days in which to return their sample before they are billed $49.95, which is the wholesale price for Ageless. After the free trial offer, users are given 3 days to return any subsequent shipments of Ageless every month.
The Good
- Ageless contains pomegranate, which is known for having potent antioxidant properties.
- Ageless will offer to cut shipping costs if you try to navigate away from the official website.
- Ageless is easily available online.
The Bad
- Actual ingredient list is very unclear.
- Billing practices are very confusing, even for the “free” trial.
- No actual product details are given on the official website.
- Official website is fairly unprofessional, and acts more as an advertisement than a product information resource.
- There does not appear to have been any clinical studies, or at least none are presented on the Ageless website.
- Users only have 3 days to return product following the free trial offer.
The Bottom Line
We’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about Ageless, but the official product website did little to clear up any of our questions. We’d still be much more confident selecting a product that fully discloses it’s ingredients and lets curious consumers see the clinical studies used in its formulation, rather than a buzz-heavy web-only wrinkle fighter that offers few details and no full ingredient list such as Ageless.
