Ahava Time Line is the name of the entire range of anti-aging products offered by the skin and body care product developer Ahava. Within the Ahava Time Line group of wrinkle fighters, there is: the Age Defying All Day Moisturizer SPF 15, the Age Defying All Night Nourishment, the Age Defying Continual Eye Treatment, the Age Defying 3D Essence Ampoules and the Age Defying Optimizer Serum. It seems as if the entire Ahava Time Line wrinkle fighting range of products makes use of various mineral combination within their ingredient lists. The official Ahava website is a bit unclear, but it seems as if all of these products may also contain something that Ahava calls their patented “3D Complex”.

Ahava’s 3D Complex is a patented formula made up of various minerals, all of which are derived from the dead sea. The result is apparently a “three dimensional complex” that consists of the “Mineral Skin Osmoter”, which is claimed to be another derivative from the Dead Sea’s waters, and also Dunaliella Algae, which is a seaweed that is apparently unique to the Dead Sea and that is claimed to be loaded with healthy vitamins and amino acids. Finally, Ahava’s 3D Complex also contains extracts from several desert plans that are claimed to be soothing and hydrating for the user’s skin.

Product Details

It doesn’t seem as if there is any kind of a discounted kit available for all of the Ahava Time Line products, meaning that you will have to evaluate each one on its own merits. One of the brand’s signature products seems to be the Age Defying 3D Essence Ampoules. These fairly unique products are individually packaged “beads” full of cream that are instructed to be taken as a 10 day course of treatment that is claimed to essentially detox the skin. It doesn’t appear that any Ahava Time Line products are available online and no prices are given, which is a bit strange. Instead curious consumers are directed to a directory of Ahava stores. Unfortunately for US customers, most of the retailers are located in Israel. The Ahava Time Line products are also available via third-party retailers from locations like Amazon, but we’re always a little weary about buying from these vendors.

The Bad

  • There seem to be some issues with US availability.
  • We didn’t see any clinical testing evidence on the official website.
  • It doesn’t seem like any of the Ahava Time Line projects do anything to address collagen production.
  • There don’t seem to be free trials of any Ahava Time Line products available.

The Bottom Line

While using the Dead Sea as an inspiration for product recipes is certainly a novel approach, we’re looking for something a little bit more concrete in our skin care regimen. We’d like to see a free trial sample of Ahava Time Line products, or at least some clinical trial information, before committing to a skin care line that is so hard to get a hold of.
