Overview
The Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel is an interesting skin care option offered by MD Skincare. MD Skincare is a fairly extensive line of skin care products designed by one Dr. Dennis Gross, and other products that they offer include treatments for Rosacea, Oily Skin, sun care and acne. The Alpha Derma Face Peel is actually a 2-step system that promises comprehensive skin care, and also offers users a “Microexfoliation” option, which is a fairly unique concept. MD Skincare claims that the Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel is gentle and will not irritate skin, and that there is no recovery time involved with the Microexfoliation process.
The Alpha Beta Beta Daily Face Peel claims to “remove cellular debris” from the skin’s surface. This, in turn, will lead to a smoother and more even skin tone for the user. On the official Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel website, Dr. Gross states that he devised this daily skin treatment around the same principles as daily exercise, and he theorizes that it is better to gently cleanse tha face daily than to get a harsh treatment such as microdermabrasion once per week.
Product Details
While we know this is a two-step process, the details of the two steps involved in Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel are not made clear. It looks as if one step involves a cream or lotion of some sort, and the second is a scrubbing pad. This second step is likely the element most crucial to Microexfoliation. Also, we are told users should administer the Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel every day, but it is not clear if this is in the evening or in the morning.

The Good
- The Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel offers microexfoliation, which is fairly unique.
- On the official product website, Dr. Dennis Gross has posted a podcast explaining some detail of this product.
The Bad
- The second step of the Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel contains parabens, which are potentially irritating synthetic preservatives.
- It’s still not very clear what “microexfoliation” is, or if it’s just a marketing term.
- Of course, MD Skincare promises best results if this product is used with a suite of other MD Skincare products.
- No free trial offer seems to be available at this time.
The Bottom Line
There are some interesting ideas associated with the Alpha Beta Face Peel product, but we still have a lot of questions. We’ve found that some of the best wrinkle treatments use unique peptides to stimulate collagen production within the skin and, when all is said and done, the Alpha Beta Face Peel seems to be more of a cleanser.
