Avance products are high end skin care and anti-aging products that are marketed primarily towards women of all ages. Avance is based on the East coast of the United States and you can find their products on many websites that specialize in beauty products. Unfortunately, the section of the Avance website that offers this product seems to be gone. Instead, you are taken to the Cure line, which is available from Avance and once offered this product. It's possible the name has changed to either Skin Regeneration Treatment or Wrinkle Preventer but we can't be positive which one used to be the Potion Intense.

Avance does offer quite a large selection of products that are specifically tailored for many different skin conditions. There are products for oily skin, mature skin, young but aging skin, skin that gets a lot of sun exposure, and much more. Avance even offers a line of products for the bath and shower.

Product Details

Out of all the various Avance products, we believe the Potion Intense is most likely now just called “wrinkle preventor”. This product is marketed as a light moisturizer and many of the ingredients seem to be all natural and derived from ocean algae, plants, and fruits. Coenzyme Q10 is the main ingredient and it may help your skin produce collagen, which would lead to a more youthful appearance. Many of the other ingredients are anti-oxidants, which help your skin fight free radical damage more effectively.

The official Avance website is very easy to read and has many categories to help you find exactly what your skin needs. The Avance Potion Intense or “wrinkle preventor” is part of a 5 product anti-aging line. Each one of the products in the anti-aging line looks like they were created to be used in conjunction with the other anti-aging products, but the website doesn't seem to suggest that anywhere.

The Good

  • This product contains anti-oxidants, which are beneficial for protecting the skin.

The Bad

  • Very little information is available on the official Avance website.
  • The name seems to have changed from Potion Intense to “wrinkle preventor”.
  • No testimonials or clinical studies are posted anywhere on the official website.

The Bottom Line

It's hard to get a good feel for the Avance Potion Intense or “wrinkle preventor” as the official website is pretty vague about it. It claims that this product will lift your complexion and hydrate your skin deeply to prevent wrinkles. It doesn't go into detail at all, unfortunately. There are some third party reviews but if the product has changed names, it may have changed some ingredients so we don't trust those very much. We can't recommend spending over $50 on this product until Avance put some better information on their official website.
