Babor Vita is a German-based company devoted to a natural approach to beauty and skin care. It combines a European botanical approach with the latest in cosmetic technology to produce products that are claimed to be safe and effective. The Babor Vita Balance line of products is designed to treat extremely dry skin, leaving it softer and younger looking. According to some of the websites that sell this line, the night cream can minimize fine lines and wrinkles, while it delays light induced aging. The concentrate actually contains an anti-aging ingredient that may have some effect on turning back the clock. This substance can reduce wrinkles through injection, or provide ultimate hydration when applied topically. While the night cream claims to reduce the appearance of lines, the product list is primarily geared toward hydration of the skin. We could not find known cutting-edge anti-aging ingredients like matrixyl 3000, collagen or argireline. While hydration can help the skin look younger, it is not the most effective way to reduce the look of wrinkles that have already formed.

The lipid plus capsules contain vitamin E and other antioxidants that can prevent additional sun damage to the skin, but aren't the most effective in reversing damage that has occurred previously. The Babor Vita Balance website talks about the research that is done for their products, but specific data does not seem to be available on the Vita Balance line.
