On this website critics examine a number of popular health and beauty products available on the market today. The information presented on the site about each of the products assessed has been obtained from publicly available sources. Those critics and this web site are sponsored by Rauscher | Bekke, manufacturers of Dermapril-SP. The information on this website is intended to inform and educate consumers. OverviewBeauplexa is the brainchild of a woman who became very impressed with the effects of argireline in products she found in Europe. She returned to the United States to begin marketing her own brand of this substance in an FDA-approved laboratory in the US. The Beauplexa website states that the product is allergy tested and safe for men and women of all skin types. Beauplexa Youth Restoration Serum claims to fill in facial lines, smooth out deeper wrinkles and give you a visible, youthful appearance. One third-party website that sells the product claims that Beauplexa can reduce the appearance of lines by up to 50% in as little as two weeks. This same site states that the product is dermatologist recommended and approved. We could not find either claim supported on the actual Beauplexa company website. We found the Beauplexa website to be rather unprofessional in appearance and lacking some of the vital information that would help consumers make an informed choice about their skin care. The name of the key ingredient is even spelled incorrectly throughout! A complete listing of ingredients is never provided, although there are testimonials and before and after photographs to back up the effectiveness on the product. The product is also rather pricey, although discounts are offered for buying multiple bottles at one time. We could not find any type of money back guarantee listed on the website. The product is available directly through the company, at online stores and through independent distributors. Product DetailsThe only ingredients that are offered for the Beauplexa Youth Restoration Serum are Argireline, also known as acetyl hexapeptide-3, and some unspecified “botanicals.” It does not specify which botanicals it is referring to. Argireline is a known anti-aging ingredient, with plenty of research and testing to back up its effectiveness. Argireline has been called “the Botox alternative” because it works in a similar way without the invasive procedure. This ingredient effectively relaxes facial muscles that contribute to the lines and wrinkles that make up the aging process. Argireline can work especially well when it is combined with other known anti-aging substances like matrixyl 3000 or collagen. Beauplexa does not contain either of these ingredients. The Good
The Bad
The Bottom LineWith the proven ingredient argireline in the mix, Beauplexa will probably provide some significant anti-aging benefits. However, those benefits would be increased with additional anti-aging ingredients in the formula. With a high price tag and no money back guarantee, there may be better places to spend your skin care dollars.
