Benedetta Review

Overview

Julia Faller created Benedetta Fresh Aromatheraputic Skincare in 1996. She says that her aim with Benedetta was to focus on using high quality products, sourced where possible from biodynamic and organically grown raw materials. She says that the products in her skincare range are generously infused with pure essential oils. She states also that all of the essential oils used in the products are purchased from a global community of organic biodynamic farmers and local craftspeople. Oils are an essential feature in the Benedetta skin care range. One of their main anti-aging products is the Benedetta Eye Cream, which claims to melt away your fine lines and wrinkles and get rid of puffiness and dark circles under the eyes, which can be a problem area for some people.

Product Overview

We could not find an official website for Benedetta, and the range of products in the Benedetta line does not appear to be very extensive. The Benedetta Eye Cream is available from online shops for $60. We were also unable to find a full comprehensive list of ingredients that are used in the eye cream.

The Benedetta eye cream does, however, contain the following ingredients, Vitamin K from Organic Alfalfa, Green Tea Extract, Organic Almaki Fruit Extract, Organic Rose Extract as well as the following oils, Pumpskin Seed Oil, Borage Oil, and Jojoba Oil.

The Good

• This skin care range does seem to be more natural than most skin care products which are often marketed as natural but in effect contain lots of chemicals such as paraben preservatives.
• The Company does seem to make an effort to source and to use organic ingredients where possible.
• Online reviews say that the creams have a lovely texture.

The Bad

• There is no official website for Benedetta, making it very difficult to really learn about the product line.
• Benedetta does not have an extensive range of products in its skin care line. The choice is rather limited and geared towards very specific trouble areas.
• There is no free gift with the purchase of a Benedetta product.
• There are no customer service contact details available for those who may have questions or concerns.

The Bottom Line

If you are looking for a natural skin product you could probably do worse then choosing this one, and this is one thing in the manufacturers favour. The manufacturer and retailers selling the Benedetta Skin eye cream say that it will reduce your wrinkles and fine lines as well as get rid of puffiness and dark circles. The problem is that there is no way of knowing as there is just not enough information available on this eye cream or any other Benedetta products to make an informed judgement. There certainly do not seem to have been any controlled standardized tests of this eye cream carried out. We really need to know a lot more about this small skin care company.
