Benev DermaLift Review

Updated On:

Overview

Benev DermaLift is a product from the advanced biotechnological firm, Benev. Benev claims to “provide long lasting health and beauty to its consumers” through a variety of products. They focus on providing this through pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical, and nutraceutical means. According to their website, the aim of this company is to “become a leader in the healthcare industry with our emphasis on immunology and anti-aging.” Benev technology is used throughout America, Asia, Europe, and South America. Their products are tested in a FDA approved facility. On their website Benev provides a physician locator to help customers find doctors within their area who might be able to offer Benev DermaLift.

DermaLift is an anti-aging product on the Benev line that uses proteins to renew and moisturize skin. The key ingredient found in DermaLift is Argireline. Benev claims that in just ten seconds DermaLift’s renewal properties take effect by reconfiguring the user’s “extracellular matrix” and boosting moisture levels. At the same time it supposedly is able to tighten and lift the skin.

Product Details

DermaLift, whose main ingredient is the Botox alternative Argireline, allegedly is able to quickly renew the skin via the utilization of amino acids that are present. The Benev DermaLift product directs users to apply it once or twice a day under makeup. The cost for a 40 to 45 day supply is 125.00. Using this product year round, a user should expect to spend well over a thousand dollars! The main active ingredient, Argireline, is a polypeptide that is not toxic. This “Botox alternative” stalls the operation of neurotransmitters, which allow for the formation of facial expressions These expressions, in turn, lead to wrinkles over time.

DermaLift is no longer sold by Benev, though it is still readily available through suppliers who apparently still have piles of the stuff. Benev has enhanced the lifting formula by adding a Marine bio-polymer, originally used in Eastern medicine, and has renamed the product Benev Instant Lifting Serum. sInstant Lifting Serum, which requires a doctor’s prescription, is oddly not described on Benev’s website and not a lot of information is available elsewhere. The Marine bio-polymer is not specified; actually besides the use of Argireline no other ingredients are listed. As a spin-off of the popular DermaLift this product may be fine; or this unnamed polymer may be harmful to certain skin types, it’s hard to tell.

The Good

  • DermaLift has been widely used for a number of years with mostly good reviews.
  • The polypeptide Argireline’s has been used in other skin products, all which assure safety.

The Bad

  • The product has been discontinued so may be hard to find.
  • The new alternative Instant Lifting Serum’s description is vague and uninformative.
  • A thousand dollars a year may be a tad extreme for some.

The Bottom Line

If you are lucky enough to find Benev DermaLift you should probably stock up since this product is only going to get harder and harder to find. The wide ranging success of this product seems to indicate that it works, at least for some skin types. The new alternative Benev Instant Lifting Serum may be just as affective, or even more so, but not enough information is available on the product. A bio-polymer is one of two ingredients listed, and this one isn’t even named. We would definitely consult a dermatologist and seek others who have tried this product. It may be an amazing product; but Benev should give more information to customers. In general, we are reluctant to commit to wrinkle fighting products that have been discontinued.
