Benev Emlite Cream Review

Updated On:

Overview

Benev Emlite Cream is a product manufactured and developed by the advanced biotechnological firm, Benev. Benev claims to “provide long lasting health and beauty to its consumers” through a variety of products. They focus on providing this through pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical, and nutraceutical means. According to their website, the aim of this company is to become a leader in the healthcare industry, with an emphasis place on immunology and anti-aging technology. Benev technology is used throughout America, Asia, Europe, and South America. Their products are tested in a FDA approved facility. On their website Benev provides a physician locator to help customers find doctors within their area.

Benev Emlite Cream seeks to gently lighten skin on the face and neck, as well as to revive dying skin. The lightening effect is caused by a reduction in the pigmentation of the skin; supposedly giving the skin a younger looking outer glow. A key ingredient in this process is the patented ingredient Emblica.

Product Details

The Benev website does not list ingredients for their own Emlite Cream product. Luckily, a retailer did provide a listing of all ingredients on their website. The ingredients in Benev Emlite Cream are as follows: Water, Phyllantus Emblica Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin, Saccharide Isomerate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Ethoxydiglycol, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate, Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Squalane, Polysorbate 60, Titanium Dioxide, Alumina, Silica, Sodium Polyacrylate, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Tetrasodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben.

According to Benev’s website the key ingredient in the Benev Emlite Cream, Emblica, mentioned above is a “composition extracted from the plant Phyllantus Emblica.” In addition it also claims to be “clinically tested” to reduce excess pigmentation. This is achieved because of the pro-oxidative property of Emblica. The product should reduce the appearance of sunspots, freckles, and age spots for a more even colored skin tone. On an independent research website we found the results of experiments which conclude saying that it has regenerative properties. Many other websites claim that this plant’s extract is a photo-agent that can achieve lightening of the skin.

What does a bottle of Benev Emlite Cram run a customer? Typically, a 1.5 ounce bottle can be priced between $80-$90 dollars. Directions for Benev Emlite Cream suggest using “liberally” once a day for six to nine weeks. As an estimation, a customer would probably need at least two bottles of Emlite Cream during this period. In addition the use of a sunscreen is highly recommended, which is often the case for all skin lightening agents.

The Good

  • Emblica has data to back up product claims.
  • Many other websites substantiate some of Emblica’s effects, independent of Benev Emlite Cream.

The Bad

  • Benev’s negligence in providing information about the product reduces confidence in product.
  • Though tested in a FDA facility, they do not provide any specific test results.
  • This product may not be safe for all skin types, the website does not address the issue.
  • Be especially cautious of spending too much time in the sun when using Benev Emlite Cream.

The Bottom Line

Benev Emlite Cream may be able to lighten skin, reducing the appearance of freckles, sun spots, and signs of aging, as the website claims. Most of the product info that we found did not come from Benev. This product is given no customer reviews or a guarantee warranty. If you are trying to reduce sun spots, or to even out the abnormalities in the coloring of your skin, this product might be for you. However, the price tag is quite high. If you’re only looking to fight wrinkles, then Benev Emlite Craem isn’t really what you need.
