On this website critics examine a number of popular health and beauty products available on the market today. The information presented on the site about each of the products assessed has been obtained from publicly available sources. Those critics and this web site are sponsored by Rauscher | Bekke, manufacturers of Dermapril-SP. The information on this website is intended to inform and educate consumers. OverviewBioderma is a French manufacturer that produces cosmetics and skin care products. Their research and development unit is based in Aix en Provence in France. Many of its products are developed especially for sensitive skin. Bioderma says that it has worked in conjunction with scientists and dermatologists to produce the finest skin care available. They say that as a result of this they offer a holistic and corrective solution for each skin type. Two of its major anti-aging products are White Objective Cleansing Solution and White Objective Day Cream. The White Objective range is specially designed to eliminate pigmentation on aging skin or on skin affected by the sunlight. The aim of both these products is to block the synthesis of pigmentation. Both of these products contain a patented component known as W.O. Product DetailsBioderma does have an official website, but you cannot order these products directly from their website. However, the White Objective range of products is available from online vendors. The Bioderma White Objective day cream is sold at $43.95, but we could not find a price for the White Objective cleansing solution. However, most of Bioderma’s products seem to be in the medium price range. The ingredients in Bioderma’s White Objective cleansing solution consists of: Water, Peg-6 Caprylic, Polysorbate 20, Lysine, Azelate, Adrographis Paniculata Leaf Extract, Hexapeptide 2, Rhamnoes, Mannitol, Xylitol, Fructooligosaccarides, Diproplyene Glycol, Butylene Glycol and Disodium EDTA. In the White Objective day cream Bioderma focuses on the fact that Vitamin C is a crucial active ingredient. It has properties which block the creation of melanin, which is of course what causes brown spots and pigmentation. It is true that Vitamin C does help to block pigmentation. In fact Vitamin C is one of the most widely used antioxidants in skin care products on the market today. The Good
The Bad
The Bottom LineMany women of a certain age are certainly very preoccupied by dark spots and pigmentation on their skin. The majority of these women are of course looking for a safe and efficient solution. There are a great number of lightening products on the market which state that they reduce and eliminate pigmentation, the problem being that many of them use ingredients for which there are possible safety concerns. While liver and age spots are certainly one of the symptoms of aging, usually those looking to stop or reverse time are more preoccupied with wrinkles. Bioderma looks like it could be a decent solution for age spots, but those looking for a comprehensive anti-aging solution will probably want to keep looking.
