On this website critics examine a number of popular health and beauty products available on the market today. The information presented on the site about each of the products assessed has been obtained from publicly available sources. Those critics and this web site are sponsored by Rauscher | Bekke, manufacturers of Dermapril-SP. The information on this website is intended to inform and educate consumers. OverviewBiomaris produces a line of skin care products, cosmetics and health food supplements, based on the active ingredients of sea water. Biomaris say that all of its skin care products are manufactured using valuable marine ingredients such as deep sea water from the North Atlantic, Special Marine Algae, and high quality sea salt. Biomaris’s main anti wrinkle and anti aging product is called Biomaris Anti Aging cream. Biomaris claims that using this anti-aging cream will definitely reduce your wrinkles by 30% after twenty-eight days (one month.) Product OverviewThere is a very detailed Biomaris official website including some info on the history of healing with sea water which makes interesting reading, but unfortunately there also seems to be some fundamental product information lacking. For example, the price of the products is not given online. You can access the products in either Biomaris spas and salons, or other salons stocking their range of products. You can order their products online from their website but not directly. If you do want to order some products within the Biomaris range you will have to fill in a form on line after which a sales representative will contact you. This seems needlessly complicated to us. We could not find an explicit list of ingredients for the skin care products on the website. The website also says that trials were carried out on this anti-aging cream which showed that wrinkles were reduced by 30%. There are however no comprehensive details given of these tests that could serve to back up Biomaris’ emphatic claims. The Good
The Bad
The Bottom LineUnfortunately, we were not able to access enough information on the Biomaris anti-aging cream to give a properly informed opinion. It does contain ingredients such as algae, which we know is a superfood, and it also contains components that are good for the skin such as essential fatty acids. The inclusion of algae is not however a good enough reason to use it, as there are other creams on the market with algae. There does not seem to be any controlled standardized tests that have been carried out with the Biomaris skin range. We would like to see some hard evidence to back up their claims that their anti aging cream reduces wrinkles by 30% . Of course, while we’re asking we would also like to see a full ingredient list, some product pricing information and a free trial sample or money back guarantee offered for Biomaris products.
