The BORBA Advanced Aging Recovery Crème seems to be the newest offering from the BORBA skin care brand. The BORBA Advanced Aging Recovery Cream retails from the official manufacturer’s website for $60.00, which will get you a .38 lb jar of the cream (unfortunately, what this comes out to in ounces is not made clear.)

The official website does give curious consumers some interesting numbers on the official page for BORBA Advanced Recovery Complex. For example, during “consumer test results” they report that 95% of trial users “reported instant, deep skin moisturization” while 83% of trial users “reported smoother, softer skin after one application.” While these claims look good in theory, it’s hard to figure out what concrete results they’re actually reporting.

Directions for use for BORBA Advanced Recovery Complex instruct users to moisturize nightly with the product after using their nightly skin cleanser of choice. Use a “pearl sized” amount of the product, and massage it into the face, neck and chest areas. Active ingredients in the BORBA Advanced Recovery Complex include Argan Oil, Mallow Root Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Antioxidant Multi-Vitamins A, C and E, Elastin Fiber, Heptapeptide-1 and Tripeptide-29. Unfortunately, no full list of ingredients appears to be available on the website.

We were particularly interested in learning more about the peptides contained in the BORBA Advanced Recovery Crème. Peptides are molecularly engineered ingredients that are often unique to specific high-end wrinkle treatments. We are told that the peptides found in the Advanced Recovery Crème stimulate collagen production, but we would like to know a little more about them. Some peptides are very well-documented but we didn’t find much on any third-party websites about Heptapeptide-1 or Tripeptide-29.

Also, we’ve seem some similar wrinkle fighting products that offer equally strong ingredients lists but that also offer a full suite of customer service options, like a free trial of the product or a money-back guarantee if you are dissatisfied. We feel that it is possible to get everything you need—including ingredients and customers service—in one product and that there’s no reason to compromise on any of these factors.
