Cellusana is a German company that markets a line of all-natural skin care. The secret behind the success of this line, at least as it is touted by the company and a few select online retailers, is a process of cell renewal that uses substances that repair and rejuvenate damaged and aging cells. However, we were unable to pinpoint precisely how this process works and to determine the substances that are used in this process. We were unable to find a corporate or product website for Cellusana, leaving us in the dark on many of the key pieces of information that would help consumers make an informed choice about this product.

We were able to find a price on the Cellusana product line, which appears to include a Hydro Day Cream, a Revital Night Cream and serum ampoules. At the time of this review, products range in price from $140 to $190. We feel that this is a very high price tag for a product that does not disclose much specific information for the consumer. We were also unable to find customer testimonials or any sort of money back guarantees on these products.

Product Details

Since we are unable to find an ingredient list for the Cellusana product line, we will look further at this cell renewal process that is advertised with the product. However, we would caution consumers against purchasing skin care products that do not disclose a full ingredient list before purchasing. We believe this information is absolutely necessary in determining the effectiveness of the product and ensuring that allergic reactions do not occur.

Some of the websites we found that explained this Cellusana cell renewal process referred to "juvenile components" as the apparent active ingredients in the formula. This unsettling description is never fully explained. Another website referred to the use of "fresh cells" from animals like cattle, sheep and pigs. Even more disturbing in light of the fact that the process or formula is never completely disclosed.

The Bottom Line

This new concept of cell renewal may indeed be the wave of the future in anti-aging products. There is no doubt that research in this area has hinted at much promise in the treatment of a variety of diseases and may prove to be quite useful in the anti-aging arena as well. However, the lack of information at this time gives us plenty of concern over the Cellusana product line. When we couple that with the extremely high price tag, we believe that consumers can meet their anti-aging needs with more reasonably priced, effective products from other companies.
