We did find a list of active ingredients, which are: Salicylic Acid 2 %, Water, Mucor Miehei Extract, Glycerin, PEG-8, Methyl Gluceth 20, Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Polyethylene, PPG-5, and Ceteth-20. User reviews all complain about the smell of the Neutrogena product, describing it as everything from “odd” to “unbearable.” Some users also report a “tingling” or “burning” sensation with use, and apparently the product packaging says that this is normal and means that the product is working. One reason that it may be difficult to find information on CelluZyme is that this was apparently “exclusive” technology, and it’s use has been restricted to just a few Neutrogena branded products. When the Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acne Mask was available, it seems like it retailed for around $7 from most big-name drugstores.
