Overview
Chamonix Essentials is offered through a “home party” system, rather than through physical stores and online retailers. Individual consultants provide the product line directly through gatherings in homes that give consumers the opportunity to actually sample the various formulas before they buy. Another unique characteristic of Chamonix Essentials is their extremely liberal return policy that allows consumers to return products they are not satisfied with for up to four months after purchase. However, the proof is in the pudding, and we will take a look at the formulas within the Chamonix Essentials anti-aging line to see if they can deliver quality and effective results.
Unfortunately, we were unable to find customer testimonials on the Chamonix Essentials line. We believe that a company that provides anecdotal evidence like the words of satisfied customers shows confidence in the effectiveness of their products. Complete ingredient lists also appear to be missing from the Chamonix website. This is a concern for two reasons. First, savvy consumers cannot weigh the active ingredients against the claims of the company to see if a product can deliver on its promises. For those with allergies, a lack of information about the formulas may mean that there are potentially irritating ingredients that would not be disclosed until after a purchase is made.
Product Details
There are many different products in the Chamonix Essentials anti-aging line, which can make it confusing for consumers to know exactly which one will be the best choice for them. However, for the sake of this review, we will take a closer look at the best selling wrinkle cream, Chamonix Esotique. This treatment claims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with grape seed extract and retinol. Consumers can also choose from the RF Esotique formula that includes the proven anti-wrinkle agent matrixyl. We are not sure why Chamonix chooses to offer both of these products when the RF formula would appear to be much more effective.
Retinol is a common ingredient used in many anti-aging formulas; however, it is not the most effective at diminishing the look of wrinkles. We believe it would be better to combine the results of matrixyl with another proven agent like sodium hyaluronate or collagen for maximum benefits. This product does not seem to contain any of these substances.
The Good
- Chamonix Essentials Esotique RF contains matrixyl.
- The company provides a liberal four-month money back guarantee.
The Bad
- We were unable to find customer testimonials for the products.
- Other proven anti-aging ingredients like collagen and sodium hyaluronate were not included.
- Products are only available through individual consultants.
The Bottom Line
The home party sales structure is a popular one because it allows consumers the freedom to shop from the comfort of home while still socializing. However, the Chamonix Essentials line may be missing some key ingredients that would maximize the benefits of their anti-aging formulas. While these products might be worth a try, there are probably more effective wrinkle fighting options available.
