Chrono Repair Review

On this website critics examine a number of popular health and beauty products available on the market today. The information presented on the site about each of the products assessed has been obtained from publicly available sources. Those critics and this web site are sponsored by Rauscher | Bekke, manufacturers of Dermapril-SP. The information on this website is intended to inform and educate consumers.

Overview

Chrono Repair, which is also referred to as Chrono Repair Intensive Care Revitalizing cream on some websites, is manufactured by the Swiss company Methode Physiodermie. It appears from the company website, that the products made by Methode Physiodermie are primarily marketed to spas as products that can be used for their treatments and offered to their patrons for sale. We had some difficulty finding the products over the Internet, and the websites that we did find that sold the products appeared to be second-rate at best. One would not even provide information about the cream until they received personal information from the interested client (seems like a bad business model to us!)

The company website states the the Methode Physiodermie line of products was the result of research that was done at the Sintyl Laboratory in Geneva. It claims that the products in this line are adapted to every skin type in order to bring "visible and lasting results". The products do not appear to be available for sale to the general public on the website, and we could not find any specific studies or testimonials to back up the products. The website does talk about a Meima technology that supposedly "targets membranes and delivers the necessary ingredients". However, specifics are not discussed regarding this technology, which leaves us wondering exactly what this technology consists of and what ingredients are used.

Product Details

Unfortunately, the company does not expand upon ingredient lists anywhere on the website that we could find. While the Chrono Repair cream claims to fight free radicals, promote micro-circulation and stimulate natural skin renewal, no specific substances are listed that could actually serve these purposes. After further research on the company websites that sell this product, we could not find any additional information about the ingredients used in the product. Even descriptions of the product’s function appear to be vague and without any factual basis to back them up.

In addition to a lack of important information, this product comes with a very high price tag. At the time of this review, we found a price on the item of more than $230. This figure may be compounded by the fact that the product might need to be shipped overseas for delivery. It was not easy to find Chrono Repair for sale at all, and the websites offering it did not seem to give any sort of money back guarantee if you were not happy with the product.

The Good

  • The product does seem to be used and sold in some salons.

The Bad

  • There is very little concrete information about the product.
  • It is not easy to find Chrono Repair for sale anywhere.
  • The price is high for a product that leaves so much unknown.
  • Little is known about active ingredients or even product function claims.

The Bottom Line

This company may provide very good, high quality products that are effective anti-aging substances. However, with very little information and a very high price tag, we feel the Chrono Repair is a risk that most women simply do not need to take. With the internet making it easier than ever to educate consumers about your product, we see now reason for all of the secrecy.

Our top pick for 2008:  Dermapril-SP

Dermapril-SP was rated the best-in-class performer, with a cutting-edge formula and results visible immediately after use. Matrixyl 3000™, the primary active ingredient in Dermapril-SP, is backed by clinical research that showed reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles of as much as 33% after two months of use.
