When applied as a cream to the skin, young brewer's yeast cells are claimed to decrease the amount of sebum secreted by the skin and hence reduce the appearance of greasy skin. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not a single testimonial, nor are the ingredients fully listed. St John’s wort and Echinacea are great supplements but have zero documented anti-aging properties that we know of. Even though the product line has been designed by a dermatologist, there are no pre or post photos or any clinical evidence to strengthen the claims. Without a complete list of ingredients it is hard to make an assessment of a product. Additionally, the product is fairly expensive. For Americans it may be hard to get hold of this product and there are many other alternatives for the treatment of acne that are cheaper and more effective than Dayenne.
