Overview
Frances Denney has been in the cosmetic business for more than a century and has a solid reputation when it comes to hair and cosmetic products. Denney has recently entered the anti-aging market and has released a Denney Moisture Reservoir. Denney moisturizer reservoir is a liquid based solution. It must be applied twice a day for the maximum benefit. Only a light stroke of the liquid formula has to be applied. It is claimed that the use of the Denney Moisture Reservoir can firm up the skin, diminish fine lines, reverse the signs of aging and help boost the hydration of the skin. The resulting effect is a skin that is firm, young, and aesthetically pleasing. Women with sensitive skin are said to be able to get the greatest benefit from using this cream. The Denney Moisture Reservoir is 100% fragrance free, non-allergenic and mineral oil free. The ingredients are all claimed to be from natural products.
Product Details
Ingredients in Denney Moisture Reservoir include sea kelp, vitamins A and E and rose hips for healing skin blemishes. Sea kelp is a thickening agent and is known to soften and soothe the skin. The kelp is said to contain many minerals and vitamins that nourish the skin by promoting increased circulation. The kelp also helps keep the skin’s pores open. Sea kelp has been widely used by many Pacific Islanders for the treatment of a vast number of medical disorders including blood pressure, diabetes, lowering of cholesterol and prevention of stroke. All the reported medical benefits of sea kelp are based on folk lore rather than any scientific studies that we could find, however.
Rose Hips, also included in Denney Moisture Reservoir, are extracted from flowers grown in the Andes Mountains in Chile. Extracts from these flowers have been used to treat a number of medical disorders. Rose Hips may improve the healing of scars and burns, and it is a natural form of Vitamin C. However, there is little scientific evidence about the healing abilities of Rose Hips. While there are some anecdotal reports, there are no clinical studies to back up the claims.
The Good
- Frances Denney has a good website.

The Bad
- Products contain iodine.
- No active anti-aging peptides.
- No user testimonials.

The Bottom Line
Denney Moisture Reservoir appears to be a decent product that is fairly cheap. Even though there are no testimonials, the website does describe the products well. Some of the formulations do contain iodine which is quite low in concentration and unlikely to cause any side effects. While the manufacturer does make a lot of claims about the Denney Moisture Reservoir as having anti-aging properties, none of the ingredients listed have proven ability in this field that we know of. The cream does work as an effective moisturizer and probably nourishes the skin.
