This company was founded on the basis that quality skin care products should also be very gentle on the skin. The DermaPro products are formulated with the aid of various chemists and aim to give consumers quality products that are similar to prescription strength beauty products but are available at less cost.

Derma Bo is one of DermaPro's entries into the world of anti-aging products. Derma Bo is actually an emulsion powder, which means it is a powder that acts like a liquid. The official Derma Bo website claims this product will reduce the depth of your wrinkles by up to 50% if you use it for 3 days. This product is billed as an alternative to invasive procedures and injections such as dermal fillers and Botox.

Derma Bo uses thalassine as its active ingredient and while not the most popular ingredient, thalassine can be found in a couple of different wrinkle fighting products. Thalassine is actually an extract derived from sea anemones and may interact with your skin’s histamine balance to reduce swelling of the skin and possibly make it smoother. We can't find any real scientific data that proves that thalassine is an effective anti-aging substance, however.

The big selling point of Derma Bo on the official website is that it is an emulsion powder. By keeping its formula in powder form, the website claims that it will keep the potency of the ingredients much longer than if it was a liquid. There is no data to substantiate this, however. There is a Material Safety Data Sheet available on the official website which is nice, but it really doesn't say much at all regarding this particular product. We can't find the full list of Derma Bo ingredients on the official website either.

  • This product contains an unusual ingredient in thalassine. However, from what we could find this marine derivative is not proven to do much at all.

The Bottom Line

With a retail price of over $50 and no proven anti-aging ingredients, Derma Bo doesn't have much to offer. The main ingredient is a little unusual but does seem to contain an all natural ingredient derived from the ocean in thalassine. The official website doesn't seem to list much useful information at all and the CEO and founder of the manufacturer isn't a doctor or health professional of any kind. We can't recommend Derma Bo at this time and encourage you to seek out an anti-aging product that has a well-established reputation and contains well-known ingredients.
