Eleusian is an Australian-based skin care products company that produces a line of cleansers, toners, moisturizers and serums that target aging skin. According to the Eleusian website, the products contain natural botanicals that improve and maintain the skin. The Eleusian website has some detailed and useful information about each product. It also provides a list of the active ingredients and botanicals used in the Eleusian products and describes their benefits and which products they are in. The one big omission on the website is a complete ingredient list for each product. The FAQ’s even state that you will need to contact the company for a full list of ingredients, which is odd.
Consumers can purchase the Eleusian skin care products directly from the website. The only major concern here is that it appears that all products are shipped from Australia which could lead to significant shipping charges. We were able to find no indication of a return policy or a money-back guarantee, but even if you could ship the product back to Eleusian, it would likely be expensive.

For the purposes of this review, we will focus on the Eleusian Treatment Serums, since these purport to have anti-wrinkle and anti-aging properties. There are seven products in this grouping: Resplendent Skin Rescue Essence, Rose Hip Regenerative Oil, Calmative Radiance with TRF, Clarifying Blemish Control, Ageless Eye Flash Concentrate, Ageless Re A Firm Activator, and Ageless Times Capsules. The sheer number of products in this grouping may make it confusing for the consumer to be able to pick the product that is right for their particular issues. Most of the line of Eleusian Treatment Serums claim to correct the signs of aging. Some of the products contain only natural ingredients. Rose hip oil is a common example.
The most promising in this group of Eleusian products is the Ageless Re A Firm Activator. This product contains both Matrixyl and collagen, which are two ingredients we look for in effective anti-wrinkle formulations. Matrixyl has been clinically-proven to increase the skin’s ability to produce collagen and to reduce lines and wrinkles. However, without more information, it is impossible to be able to determine what concentration of these ingredients is in the product and what other ingredients may be in there. For example, it is important to know whether a skin care product contains synthetic colors, fragrances or “fillers”

The Bottom Line
We find it troubling that Eleusian has taken the time to state that consumers need to call the company for a full ingredient list rather than just publish the ingredient lists. This does not provide enough information for consumers to be able to compare amongst the thousands of products available in the anti-aging arena. The best skin care companies provide full disclosure of their ingredients and stand behind their products with a money-back guarantee. Although we are impressed that some of the Eleusian products contain Matrixyl and collagen, we have a difficult time buying them without knowing what else might be in them.
