EmuTOX is a face lift serum produced by Parco Medical from Alabama. According to a press release from 2006, EmuTOX was developed after researching the anti-aging effects of emu oil. Emu oil is rendered from the fat of adult emus. The press release does not indicate what credentials Parco Medical’s owner, Mike Parsons, might have but he does not appear to be a doctor or medical professional. The press release indicates that Parco Medicals has clinical evidence showing that EmuTOX decreases facial wrinkles by 27% in 30 days or less. At the time of this review, the Parco Medical website was not accessible to allow curious consumers to find more information on the clinical studies.

In fact, no official website for Parco Medical or EmuTOX was found. EmuTOX was available for sale through a few online retailers and auction sites but none of the retailers found include a list of ingredients in EmuTOX or any other information about its effectiveness or formulation. For a product that retails around $70, that is unusual. No product guarantee appears to be available.

Other than the claimed fact that EmuTOX contains emu oil, there is very little other information available about this product. Those who have skin sensitivities or allergies should avoid this product unless a full ingredient list can be reviewed. This may be difficult as we could find no contact information for this product’s manufacturer.

Although EmuTOX is marketed as a “face lift in a jar”, there is no indication that the product contains proven anti-wrinkle and skin firming ingredients like collagen and peptides, such as Matrixyl and Argiriline. Emu oil may be able to moisturize and hydrate the skin, but there is little evidence that it does the job better than any vegetable or fruit based oils.
