Overview
Typically, the brand Garnier is associated in most people’s minds with hair care. However, they’ve recently entered the anti-aging product market with Garnier UltraLift Pro, a line of topical wrinkle creams. The Garnier UltraLift Pro line has enlisted the face of Sex In the City, Sarah Jessica Parker, as a spokesmodel. The Garnier Ultra Lift Pro line consists of three main products; the Deep Wrinkle Roller, the Deep Wrinkle Cream spf 20, and the Deep Wrinkle Dual Eye Cream.
Ideally, consumers will buy each of these Garnier UltraLift Pro products to assemble a full skin care regimen. The key active ingredient in this line is Pro-Xylane, which we are told is derived from beech trees. Unfortunately, little else is said about Pro-Xylane and we haven’t seen it in any other anti-wrinkle line.
Product Details
The three products that make up the full Garnier UltraLift Pro line are the Wrinkle Roller, the SPF day cream and the Deep Wrinkle Eye Cream. The Garnier UltraLift Pro Wrinkle Roller seems to be the signature product in this line. In addition to delivering active ingredients, this product also claims to administer a therapeutic massage due to the shape of the bottle. It’s worth pointing out that additional Garnier products, such as the Garnier Nutri-Pure cleanser, are recommended in order to achieve optimal results. Meanwhile, the Deep Wrinkle SPF cream claims to restore the skin’s collagen, leading to plumper, more youthful looking skin. This product also protects the user from environment free radicals that could damage skin and lead to future wrinkles. The UltraLift Pro Deep Wrinkle Dual Eye is a specific spot treatment for consumers who are trouble by fine lines around the upper and lower eye areas.
The Good
- Spokesmodel Sarah Jessica Parker is a familiar face.
There are several Garnier UltraLift Pro products to choose form.
The Bad
- Many Garnier UltraLift Pro products recommended could become expensive and result in a time-consuming product regimen every morning.
- Company is not necessarily known for their skin care products.
- Little is said abot the key active ingredient Pro-Xylane.
- No free product trial seems to be offered.
The Bottom Line
While we are intrigued by the idea of a cream in a bottle that can also deliver a massage while it’s applied, we just haven’t seen enough about the Garnier UltraLift Pro line to justify choosing this wrinkle fighting system. We’ve seen other products with more sophisticated active ingredients and fewer steps and bottles to worry about, and we’d probably select one of these products instead. Garnier UltraLift Pro features a slick celebrity endorser and some nicely designed packaging, but it doesn’t really have much else going for it.
