Overview
Gerda Spillman is a skin care company that is based in Switzerland. Gerda Spillman Coronation is a product that is marketed primarily at women who want to achieve younger looking skin. The focus of this review is going to be to see if we can determine whether or not this product can be effective for decreasing wrinkles and other signs of aging.
Product Details
While previously we were not able to find any information on the ingredients that are contained in most of Gerda Spillman's products, it is a wonderful discovery that we have found a product for which the company is forthcoming about the ingredients. The ingredients in Gerda Spillman Coronation are: Water, Mineral Oil, Isopropyl Miristate, Hamamelis Virginiana Distillate, Sorbitol, Glycol Stearate SE, Petrolatum, Triticum Vulgare, Germ Oil, Lecithin, Tocopherol, Guaiazulene, Methyl Popylparaben, fragrance, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Citronellol, Eugenol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Isoeugenol, Alpha-Isomethyl, Ionone and Linalool.
Just like most products that are out on the market today, it appears as though Gerda Spillman Coronation may contain Parabens, which are potential carcinogens that may be irritating to sensitive skin. It is not sure what the long term effects could be if you use this product for too long. It appears that for the price that this product is being offered at (over $100) it should at least contain some ingredients that have been scientifically proven through clinical studies. Gerda Spillman products are definitely “high end”, which makes it surprising to see that they contain cheap preservatives like parabens.

- Girda Spillman products like Coronation are expensive.
The Bottom Line
We are happy to report that we finally found something listed on the Gerda Spillman website that appears to be a legitimate list of ingredients. Although this product could potentially reduce wrinkles, the appearance of parabens in the ingredient list for Gerda Spillman Coronation could be alarming. Research shows that products containing Parabens are not recommended for long term use. There are also no clinical studies involving the Coronation product to be found. All of the assumptions about the performance of this product are purely theoretical. Also most potential consumers would feel that if this company is serious about the claims that it has made about this product then it should at least offer some kind of money- back guarantee. There appears to be nothing of this sort being offered at the time of their review. However, samples are available but only at the customer’s expense. Also, when browsing the website, it appears as though it lacks a certain amount of professionalism. The listings are clear, but it may be difficult to navigate and at times, difficult to locate a specific product due to the sites searching in capabilities. Again, considering the price of Gerda Spillman Coronation, this is a bit troubling.
