GloTherapeutics GloRetinol is made by GloTherapeutics. The main ingredient in this solution is the high concentration of retinol, which is about 3%. Retinols have been known for decades to have many “peeling” effects on the skin. Many Vitamin A derived products are used in cosmetic creams and lotions for this effect. When the retinol is applied on to the skin, it basically peels off the superficial skin and removes the debris. The shed skin is then gradually replaced by new skin which is young and fresh looking. Before using the GloTherapeutics GloRetinol product, a skin test should always be performed to ensure that one is not allergic to these potentially harsh ingredients. Apply a small amount of the solution on the face, and wait for 48 hours. If no redness or itch it evident you can use the formula. One should not use GloRetinol every day. For the best results it should be used 2-4 times a week. Because the product does produce photosensitivity, it is highly recommended that one wear a sunscreen when going out.
