Glysomed is a hand and body care firm operating out of Europe. This European company has been in partnership with Blistex, a Canadian company, for a number of years. Glysomed is famed for its rich skin products that contain a variety of oils and alcohols as ingredients. The company is most well know for its hand made cream which contain aloe vera, vitamins E and essential oils. The company also makes a fair number of products for the face, hand, feet and body. The Glysomed facial products include rubs and moisturizers; the moisturizers are said to contain a variety of natural ingredients and anti oxidants.

One particular face moisturizer is said to contain a collagen enhancing complex which can help improve the strength of collagen fibers, increase skin elasticity and rapidly rejuvenate the skin. The hands, feet and body lotions all contain the same ingredients. The majority of Glysomed formulations work as moisturizers and also help fight aging.

Magnesium aluminum silicate, Glycerin, Panthenol, Shea butter, Tocopherols, Triethonalime, Tribehenin, Ceramide, Parfum, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide.

Glysomed is a Canadian company that makes a number of formulations all of which contain the same ingredients. Glysomed makes many types of skin creams. While the website does not give out the prices, many of the department stores that sell the product do mention the prices. It appears that Glysomed formulations are good moisturizers and have some anti-bacterial properties also. All Glysomed products are also dirt cheap. On the negative side, there are far too many synthetic ingredients in the formulations and the chances of developing an allergic reaction remain high. As far as anti-aging is concerned, there is nothing in Glysomed formulations that can erase anything. Glysomed creams are also not very user friendly. Online testimonials state that the creams are thick and very greasy. For the individual who has only a few bucks and has dry skin, Glysomed formulations may help. For the rest, this is not the type of product you want to apply to your body. It does stick and look greasy-something which is never appealing. One group of individuals who may want to use Glysomed products are health care workers. The creams are thick and can act both as a barrier cream or as long acting moisturizers.
