On this website critics examine a number of popular health and beauty products available on the market today. The information presented on the site about each of the products assessed has been obtained from publicly available sources. Those critics and this web site are sponsored by Rauscher | Bekke, manufacturers of Dermapril-SP. The information on this website is intended to inform and educate consumers. OverviewHelena Rubenstein manufacturers makeup and skin products at the top end of the market. A product particularly marketed as an anti aging and anti wrinkle product is the Prodigy Night Tissular Cream. Helena Rubenstein says that the Prodigy Night Tissular Cream is a night cream which is, ‘a majestic cream, devised to let the skin win back its youth while sleeping.’ The manufacturer says that using this cream will nourish your skin intensely, as well as visibly smoothing wrinkles and giving your skin resplendent skin uniformity. One of the primary active ingredients in this cream is Chron- Algae. The manufacturers assert that the Chron Algae acts as a biological synchroniser. Helena Rubenstein says that they worked in partnership with the International Longevity Centre in France to produce this night cream. Product DetailsThe Helena Rubenstein website states that the ingredients in the Prodigy Night Tissular cream are Chron Algae, and a patented component known as Nocta Sap. The website does not state what Nocta Sap is composed of. Alage is of course a superfood and it is full of wonderful things for the skin, such as minerals, vitamins and essential fatty acids. Helena Rubenstein says that one of the reasons that Chron Algae has been included in their night cream, is that the ingredients in Chron Alage are known to be more active and potent at night. The Prodigy Night Tissular cream can be bought in many retail stores as well as online. Online stores sell this cream for prices ranging from $176 to $220. There are other anti aging products in this range such as the Prodigy Tissular Serum, which apparently helps skin regenerate new tissue, and is the first skin care product which includes plant extracts in their embryonic state. This serum is also very expensive and its price in online shops ranges from $190 to $220. Its ingredients include plant tissue extracts in their embryonic phase, Japanese Cedar bud and Indian Vigna Seed. The Good
The Bad
The Bottom LineAlthough the Helena Rubenstein Prodigy Night Tissular Cream will not do you any harm, the question we are concerned with is, will it do your skin any good? Can these products live up to what the manufacturers promise? Helena Rubenstein says that the cream will visibly smooth your wrinkles, provide intense nutrition for your skin, and give your skin a noticable uniformity. We cannot however recommend that you spend $220 on this cream or a similar amount on the Prodigy Tissular Serum until we see some more evidence that the manufacturer’s assertions are correct.
