ImmuSkin is a topical cream produced by NSC, a U.S. based company that makes a line of food supplements. ImmuSkin appears to be NSC’s only topically applied product. According to the company’s website, ImmuSkin is formulated with ingredients that have anti-aging, anti-itching, and immune fitness characteristics. ImmuSkin is based on the patented active ingredient MG Beta Glucan which is a blend of green tea, colostrum, coenzyme Q10, Vitamins A & E, aloe vera, jojoba, nettle extract, and avocado oils. ImmuSkin also contains other botanicals, such as rosemary extract and gotu kola. It is not clear whether the list of ingredients on the website represents a complete one. We will discuss the ingredients in more detail in the next section.

ImmuSkin can be purchased on the NSC website but there appears to be no money-back guarantee offered if the product doesn’t work for you or if you develop a reaction to it. Priced at around $40, ImmSkin is competitively priced compared to other anti-aging formulations on the market.

Product Details

ImmuSkin is based on coenzyme Q10. Q10 is a substance found naturally in skin. As we age, our levels of Q10 drop as our body becomes less able to produce it. Returning Q10 to the skin may prevent free radical damage and have a beneficial effect on the skin. However, in any effective anti-wrinkle or anti-aging skin care product, we look for clinically-proven ingredients like the peptides Matrixyl 3000 and Argiriline, as well as hyaluronic acid. Q10 alone may not provide the same benefits.

Of the other ingredients listed in ImmuSkin, we find EDTA and “fragrance” both a cause for concern. EDTA is a known allergen so those with skin allergies or sensitivities may wish to be careful with this product until you know how it will react with your particular skin type. “Fragrance” is a meaningless term as the fragrance in question could be derived from many different sources. Again, those with sensitive skin should be careful.

ImmuSkin promises great results but, as is often found, does not appear to be able to deliver. If you are seeking an effective skin rejuvenation product, look for proven ingredients, like Matrixyl, Argiriline or hyaluronic acid. Products containing these ingredients may cost a bit more, but the results will be worth it.
