Overview
In Cense is a Chinese-based skin care product manufacturer with lines of face, body and makeup products. Many of In Cense’s facial products are targeted towards skin rejuvenation and anti-wrinkle benefits. In Cense’s products contain many different active ingredients and we will look at them in more detail in the next section.
There is a modest amount of information available about each of the In Cense products. Most have a brief description of the claimed result and a mention of the active ingredients. One big omission on the site is that there does not appear to be a full list of ingredients. Because of this, consumers will likely not be able to evaluate the quality of the products, or their potential allergenicity. Those with sensitive skin and skin allergies should be cautious of the In Cense line until they have had the chance to review all of the ingredients. There also does not appear to be a money-back guarantee. In our experience, companies that believe in and stand behind their products offer a satisfaction guarantee.
Product Details
Most of the In Cense skin care products appear to be based on vitamins and botanicals. Although some of these can play a part in moisturizing skin, for real anti-wrinkle or firming results, consumers should look for clinically-proven ingredients such as Matrixyl 3000 or Argiriline. One ingredient we are pleased to see in some of the In Cense products is hyaluronic acid. This important ingredient can hold over 1,000 times its own weight in water and is a powerful weapon in the fight against wrinkles. However, combining the hyaluronic acid with Matrixyl 3000 or Argiriline would likely produce far superior results.
It is almost impossible to determine if the In Cense products contain any synthetic dyes, fragrances, or “fillers”. Frequently, these low-quality ingredients are added to mediocre products to bring the cost down. These ingredients are most often culprits in triggering skin allergies.
The Good

- Reasonably priced.
The Bad

- No money-back guarantee found.
- No links to clinical studies showing the effectiveness of the products.
- Full list of ingredients not supplied.
The Bottom Line
There are thousands of skin care products on the market today targeted to mature skin. In Cense has a few things going on for it but we believe there are better quality products available with better guarantees for the same or less money. Keep in mind that if you purchase the In Cense products and you are not happy with them for any reason, you may be stuck with the products and the bill.
