IOPE is a cosmetic skincare line based in Korea, that specifically caters to Asian consumers who desire to lighten their skin and reduce wrinkles. The IOPE skincare lines is made up of of two brands, called Whitegen and Power Lifting. IOPE claims that their products are formulated from state-of-the-art technology and years of research. Most of this manufacturer’s products contain ingredients native to Asia, including bamboo and white birch extracts; very exotic ingredients that will surely appeal to high-end consumers. This brand only markets their products in South Korea, but most of these products can be purchased through other internet sites at prices ranging between $23.00 to $40.00 per product.
IOPE is very tight lipped about what is contained in their products, along with how they develop their products. IOPE's skin whitening line mostly contains products directed towards normal and freckled skin. Most of these products contain the same ingredients. These ingredients are surprisingly synthetic (most skin care lines emphasize the use of natural ingredients) and very few natural products could be located. Notably, synthetic ingredients have a higher risk of side effects and irritation, and consumers should be wary of any products containing synthetic ingredients.
