On this website critics examine a number of popular health and beauty products available on the market today. The information presented on the site about each of the products assessed has been obtained from publicly available sources. Those critics and this web site are sponsored by Rauscher | Bekke, manufacturers of Dermapril-SP. The information on this website is intended to inform and educate consumers. OverviewJeune Cie is one of several lines of beauty products developed and sold by Aek-Ta Cosmetics, an Illinois based manufacturer. Jeune Cie is a full skin treatment regimen. Users of Jeune Cie go through a three-step process twice daily, performing the prescribed cleansing ritual in the morning and again at night. There are also additional supplement products offered for specific trouble areas (eyes, lips, etc.) Ultimately, Jeune Cie promises what many beauty treatments claim—Botox-like effects without all of the needles and doctor visits. Can this one deliver? Users are instructed to begin the process by using the Gentle Makeup Remover to cleanse their face. This Gentle Makeup Remover is not considered part of the core set of Jeune Cie products. Following that, use the Tender Cleansing Lotion to further clean the skin, then the Refreshing Facial Toner to exfoliate. The toner also claims to play a key part in the Jeune Cie skin revitalization process. Finally, finish the process with the Lipsomes Wrinkles Toning Crème, which is the product line’s moisturizing product. Additional products recommended by Jeune Cie are a Gentle Exfoliating Scrub for bi-weekly use, an Energizing Shower Gel, a Smoothing Body Moisturizer and a Thigh Firming Cream. The official website does offer the entire product set for $79.95, which is a discount compared to the cost of purchasing all items individually. Product DetailsUnfortunately, Jeune Cie supplies few details regarding their skin care products. We are told that some products make use of Alpha Hydroxy acids, but that is more or less all of the ingredient info given. Alpha Hydroxy acids are used in many beauty products, and they make for a fairly effective exfoliant. Most Alpha Hydroxy acids are derived from assorted fruit sugars, and it is unclear where those used in Jeune Cie come from. The Good
The Bad
The Bottom LineLike many product manufacturers, Jeune Cie promises users great things. Unfortunately, if it really does deliver on all of its miracle promises, the manufactures of this product have done it a big disservice by representing it with a pretty vague website. No ingredients are given, and no product trials or other development info is offered to backup the big claims. Also, the entire Jeune Cie treatment regimen sounds pretty complicated to use. You’ll have three bottles sitting on your counter-top minimum, and it seems like you’ll only start seeing real results with an additional two products. Some users could find this regimen confusing, while others just may not have the time to go through all of the steps twice a day. We’d need to know a lot more before we could get really excited about Jeune Cie.
