A number of the anti-aging products in the Jevelle range contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids as major active ingredients. Unfortunately these ingredients are not suitable for sensitive skin, and even with those who have normal skin, side effects, can include, stinging and burning of the skin as well as skin peeling. Alpha Hydroxy Acids can also increase the sensitivity of the skin to harmful UV rays. This cream also contains Shea Butter, Rose Hips and Algae. We are told that this cream helps to neutralize free radicals. We know that free radicals play an important part in the aging of the skin. Unfortunately the Jevelle Vitamin C cream with Gingko also contains parabens. Many experts believe that parabens are carcinogenic, and also potentially irritating towards sensitive skin.
