L’Occitane is a big-name brand that offers a variety of skin care, body care, and fragrances for both men and women. The company offers a line of anti-aging products called Immortelle. These products are made with a flower extract, using an essential oil which is said to have anti-free radical and anti-wrinkle properties. Some of the products included in the L’Occitane Immortelle line are Precious Cream, Eye Balm, Very Precious Fluid SPF 40, Very Precious Eye Serum, Essential Water For The Face, Brightening Smoothing Exfoliator, and a Milk Makeup Remover, among others.

The anti-aging products available on L’Occitane’s website do not contain mainstream ingredients which have been proven effective to reduce the appearance of wrinkles such as Argireline, Matrixyl-3000, and Retinol. All of the Immortelle products contain an essential oil extract from the Immortelle flower, though little information is available about this flower.

It is possible that L’Occitane products are effective because customer reviews and online testimonials are mostly favorable. It would be better if L’Occitane products offered a money back guarantee in the event that the products do not work, especially because the products do not contain key ingredients which have been scientifically proven to be effective. We could not find results online from clinical trials and tests that prove L’Occitane anti-wrinkle products work. It would be better to take a chance on a product backed by scientific data and a guarantee. Some of the products such as the Very Precious Eye Serum may not be good for all skin types because the product ingredients include vegetable oil. The Immortelle cleansers and toners contain pretty standard ingredients so they are likely to be effective in cleansing the skin and removing impurities, but the anti-aging products may not provide the immediate and noticeable results that most people are seeking.
