The Loreal Collagen Filler claims to provide “instant filling action” for wrinkles and to provide continuous wrinkle reduction. Like all Loreal products, the Collagen Filler can be purchased on the company’s website and can also be found in many department stores. There is no indication on the website of a satisfaction guarantee being offered but you may be able to return the product to the department store if that is where you purchased it.
Loreal Collagen Filler is endorsed by Claudia Schiffer who provides some personal testimonials on the site. Also included are application instructions and a partial ingredient list. Those with skin sensitivities may wish to exercise caution to determine how the product will work for them.

According to the Loreal website, the main active ingredient in the Loreal Collagen Filler is hyaluronic acid. This is an ingredient that we like to see in skin care products designed for aging skin. Hyaluronic acid can hold over 1,000 times its own weight in water and is known for deeply hydrating skin. In an effective anti-wrinkle formulation, we prefer products that couple hyaluronic acid with peptides like Matrixyl 3000 and Argiriline which firm up the skin and kick the body’s own collagen production into gear. Using the Loreal Collagen Filler would mean purchasing more products in order to see the ultimate effect.
The product also contains “collagen biospheres” that expand over time to plump up the skin and thereby reduce wrinkles. This term appears to be created by Loreal and the company stops short of saying that “collagen biospheres” contain collagen. The composition of this ingredient remains unclear. Unfortunately, Loreal does not appear to disclose the rest of the ingredients in the Loreal Collagen Filler. This makes it difficult to analyze whether the product contains low-quality “filler” ingredients or any ingredient that may trigger allergies.
