Majola H5 is a moisturizing cream claiming to soothe dry and unhealthy skin with natural extracts, such as wheat germ and Vitamin E. It was originally formulated in Germany and it is popular in northern Europe, but the brand is slowly becoming known in the United States as well. The best thing about this cream is its price -- one bottle sells for $9.99.

Although Majola H5 does not claim to have any anti-aging benefits, it does state that moisturization is the key to fresher, younger skin, which may interest older consumers. Majola H5 says it works by balancing the skin and protecting it from wear and tear, allowing the skin to heal from the inside out. It also claims to wash away harmful irritants deposited onto skin as a result of soap and other washing elements. Very little else is explained, however, and this fact alone brings into question how legitimate this skin cream is – or if this will provide any anti-wrinkle benefits. According to an independent retailer, Majola H5 contains Aqua, Glyceryl, Stearate, Glycerin, Isopropyl, Palmitate, Decyl Oleate, Octyldodecanol, Ceteareth-12, Alcohol Denat, Cetyl Alcohol, Parfum, Sorbic Acid, Isopropylmyristate, Wheat Germ Oil, BHT, Tocopherol Acetate, and Potassium Hydroxide. Wheat Germ Oil is actually featured lower on this list, indicating that less of it is used – not a terribly good sign in terms of effectiveness. Coincidentally, this is probably the only ingredient used that could have a real impact on skin health. Wheat Germ Oil itself is not a particularly useful ingredient, but it happens to contain Vitamin E, an essential vitamin important to skin health – particularly, promoting healthy skin growth.

The sheer amount of ingredients included do not provide any additional benefits, which might be why Majola H5 is so inexpensive. There are simply too few ingredients that actually promote skin wellness, and this fact alone may turn off consumers. Perhaps paying more for a proven anti-wrinkle cream is the best way to go. Still, you can't beat the price.

Wheat Germ contains powerful antioxidants and skin-nourishing Vitamin E, but this does not necessarily mean this will completely erase all signs of aging. If you are in need of a cheap anti-wrinkle agent and are willing to take a risk, Majola H5 might be a cream to consider.
