NutriMinC Review

Updated On:

Overview:

NutriMinC is a line of products made by Arbonne, a skin care company based in Switzerland. Arbonne was founded in 1975 by Peter Morck, and started operating in the U.S. in 1980. All of the company's products are based on botanical principals and cover inner and outer beauty. Arbonne's network of independent consultants helps to bring the products to customers around the globe. At the company's website, customers can also locate an Internet consultant directly. The website also offers product results and customer testimonials.

NutriMinC is the company's anti-aging product line, focusing on the potentially harmful effects of UV rays and aging. NutriMinC offers products for both the face and body.

Product Details:

NutrMinC's products employ nine patent-pending RE elements. These include bio-hydria complex, which is the company's proprietary formula of seven plant nutrients for softening and conditioning the skin; nanospheres, which contain antioxidant vitamins; vitamin C magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, which supports collagen and elastin for improved skin strength and elasticity; elhibin and stimu-tex, which improve skin's texture and appearance; alpha lipoic acid antioxidant; kojic acid, which combats the effects of sun and environmental damage; copper, which helps reduce fine lines and improves the appearance of skin; alpha and beta hydroxy acids; and peptides, which lessen the visible effects of wrinkles. These elements act as the key ingredients and work to improve the health of skin while the products' other ingredients serve to enhance the skin's appearance. The NutriMinC RE9 anti-aging system has both U.S. and Swiss patents pending.

NutriMinC offers a six-product system for the face, four supplement products and three products for the body. NutriMinC's facial products include a gelee crème and hydrating wash, a mist and balancing toner, an SPF 8 day crème, a reactivating facial serum both for day and night, a night crème, an eye crème and a full skin care set containing all of these products, along with a transforming lift. Each of these utilizes at least some of the RE9 elements as the key ingredients. These products are meant to be used in conjunction for a full facial skin care treatment regimen. NutriMinC's supplement and treatment products include an essential fatty acid dietary supplement, which combines flaxseed oil, CoQ10 and the RE9 elements into a vegetarian capsule. These supplement and treatment products also include the transforming lift, along with a deep pore cleanser and a facial scrub. NutriMinC's body products include its RE9 body serum, a hydrating body lotion and a foaming body wash.

The Good:

  • Official website allows customers to easily locate the consultant nearest them.
  • Products can be purchased from official website.
  • Official website gives details on the nine key ingredients.

The Bad:

  • Products are fairly expensive.
  • Official website does not provide complete and precise ingredient information for all individual products.
  • Products can only be purchased online.

The Bottom Line:

Although NutriMinC provides a helpful consultant location feature and the ability to work with a consultant online, the products themselves can only be purchased online. This may make it more difficult for customers to get the products, or to use them without a consultant. Customers must also create an Arbonne logon account to be able to access consultants. The product descriptions on the website are detailed and the ingredients provided, which allows customers to easily view what the products are and for what they are intended. The process of selecting the appropriate products, however, may prove to be somewhat difficult.
