N.V. Perricone M.D. was created by Dr.Nicholas Perricone, a licensed dermatologist. He has produced an entire line of skincare products, but we are only going to examine the anti-aging line that he has available.

There are several products in this line. Three of these products are Advanced Face Firming Activator, Amine Complex Face Lift, and Facial Conformer. They are priced in a range from $50 to $495. Since there are so many NV Perricone products available, we will concentrate on 3 products starting with one of the least expensive, then work our way up to the most expensive. These 3 products are Advanced Face Firming Activator, Amine Complex Face Lift, and Facial Conformer.

Product Details

When researching the ingredients of 2 of these N.V. Perricone MD Face products, the Advanced Face Firming Activator and the Amine Complex face Lift, it was shown that both of them may contain Caffeine. This has become an increasingly popular ingredient in the skin care industry due to the theory that it can somehow boost the skin’s collagen production and cause it to tighten, thus stretching out the wrinkles. It is believed that this method has little effect in this area and provides no long lasting results.

Both products do seem to contain an ingredient known as Hyaluronic Acid. This ingredient has become more popular in the skin care industry as well. It may have a high probability of helping the skin to become more hydrated. It is also a naturally existing substance in the human skin. It is a popular belief that over time, by adding extra Hyaluronic Acid to the skin, it can eventually help to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. At the time of this review, no clinical results were found to back up this theory. These NV Perricone MD Face products are available in the $90 to $120 price range.

However, when the most expensive anti-wrinkle product, the Facial Conformer available at $495, was researched we found that this product contains both Neuropeptides and DMAE. Both of these ingredients are backed by clinical studies with pretty impressive results. When trying to compare the price of this product to others like it, it was found to be impossible, but only because it appears that this type of product may not exist anywhere else. There were a few products found with one ingredient or the other, but none with both ingredients like this one. In this case it would not be fair to say that this product is over priced since there is nothing to be compared to, and it has been backed by clinical studies with an 84% improvement rating.

The Bottom Line

Although the NV Perricone MD Face Facial Conformer may work, the price may be out of reach for most women. And while the other products mentioned do seem to have some potential, you can purchase similar merchandise for around $35, instead of $90 and $120.
