Overview

Rejuvenex is a skin care system developed back in 1983 by one Professor Carmen Fusco, a research scientist from the New York medical college (this was the first/premiere version of Rejuvenex). Professor Fusco is also a clinical nutritionist, who considers internal and external beauty as both essential in regards to overall happiness. She currently has a practice located in Manhattan, New York. Like many skin care lines, Rejuvenex is one that addresses the common burden of aging skin, inside and out.

The Rejuvenex product line includes seven different anti-aging treatments. These products are called Ultra Rejuvenex, Ultra RejuveNight, Ultra RejuvenEyes, Rejuvenex Body lotion, RejuveneX Factor, the original Rejuvenex and Hi-Power capsules. The original active ingredients found in Rejuvenex are RNA, lactic acid and alpha hydroxy acid. Now, the newest Rejuvenex treatments additionally contain Matrixyl 3000 3% (increases skin cell renewal and promotes collagen production) and pomegranate extract (said to increase skin thickness and offer strong antioxidant properties). Rejuvenex incorporates an "extraordinary patented delivery system" that aims to assist in the removal of dead skin cells, skin firming, protecting against sun damage, improving skin elasticity and slowing the skin's aging cycle. The anti-aging line of Rejuvenex skin care treatments is primarily marketed toward women.

Product Detailsm

Rejuvenex is essentially an anti-aging skin care line. This group of products consists of seven different treatments to potentially aid users with common aging dilemmas such as collagen loss, sun damage, skin hydration, skin firming and the sloughing of dead skin cells, which in turn should promote cell renewal. Primary components found in Rejuvenex products are RNA, lactic acid, alpha hydroxy acid, pomegranate extract and Matrixyl 3000 3%. The goal of these treatments is to slow down the signs of skin aging and boost natural collagen production. Other key ingredients found in Rejuvenex products are Ceramide 2 (hydrates skin) and grape seed extract (antioxidant).

The Good

  • All Rejuvenex products are available for purchase on the official website.
  • Rejuvenex treatments contain moisturizers.
  • A convenient 1-800 number is offered via the Rejuvenex website.

The Bad

  • The official Rejuvenex website does not offer a money-back guarantee.
  • There is no clinical trials or other documentation offered to verify this product's claims.
  • Rejuvenex does not appear to be dermatologist-recommended.
  • The official Rejuvenex website fails to offer free product samples for potential customers to try.
  • Some ingredients found in Rejuvenex treatments may irritate the skin of some users.

The Bottom Line

In a world of countless "anti-aging" skin care treatments, Rejuvenex does incorporate some common ingredients such as alpha hydroxy acids, grape seed extract and lactic acid, however, this doesn't necessarily mean that this treatment line will grant you young and radiant skin. Needless to say, there are oodles of these "miracle" products on the market, which may make it difficult for some consumers to choose one that fails to offer guarantees. It would be nice to see the official Rejuvenex website provide potential customers with perks such as "dermatologist testing," money-back guarantees and free Rejuvenex samples for interested parties to try prior to purchasing the whole product line.
