We are told that it makes lines and wrinkles disappear and that it stimulates the skin to generate collagen. One of the main active ingredients in Renuven is Green Tea Extract. Green Tea Extract is one of the most popular ingredients in anti-aging treatments on the market today due to its strong antioxidant properties. Renuven is certainly not the only anti-aging treatment on the market today to contain Green Tea Extract.

The official website for Renuven contains before and after photos of those who have used this product. There are also testimonials posted by those who have used Renuven. We are told that the ingredients in this cream include Almond Oil, Green Tea Extract and Grape Seed Oil. We are not, however, given any information by the manufacturers of this product as to what distinguishes it from other anti-aging products on the market that contain similar ingredients. We are told that this cream will stimulate collagen. We know that as we age the amount of collagen in the skin decreases and that this leads to signs of aging such as lines, wrinkles and sagging of the skin. Clinical trials have shown that peptide combinations such as Matrixyl 3000 can have a very positive effect on the synthesis and stimulation of collagen. Renuven can be ordered directly from the official website at a price of $9.95.

  • We are presented with no clinical evidence that shows how Renuven is more effective than other anti-aging treatments which contain Green Tea Extract as a major active ingredient.

The Bottom Line

There are hundreds of anti-aging products on the market today that contain Green Tea Extract as a major active ingredient. Consumers are therefore really spoiled for choice. Although Renuven is very reasonably priced, we have no evidence that it is superior to other products which contain Green Tea Extract as a major active ingredient and therefore we cannot recommend it over and above other similar products.
