Overview

SeSderma BTSes Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizing Serum is manufactured by SeSDerma laboratories which is headquartered in Valencia, Spain and was founded in 1990. SeSDerma offers a wide variety of products such as: weight loss supplements, creams designed to diminish cellulite, deodorant, menopause supplements, body weight management supplements, a full line of skin care products for what appears to be most skin types, hair care products, and much more. SeSDerma’s official website states that it seeks to promote the education of the proper care of the hair, skin and nails in close collaboration with health care professionals. SeSDerma’s products can be found in dermatologists’ offices, drug stores and pharmacies, although a prescription is not necessary to purchase any of SeSDerma’s products. However, because SeSDerma sells such a wide variety of skin, hair and nail products potential customers may be left wondering how research is conducted on any one product so as to ensure the efficacy and integrity of what these individual products claim to achieve.

Product Detail

This product is designed for the treatment of wrinkles and expression lines in areas around the forehead, eyes and lip contour. It is marketed as being appropriate for all skin types. SeSDerma BTSes Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizing Serum consists of acetyl hexapeptide-3 known in the scientific community to diminish muscle tone by relaxing the muscles, thus reducing the depth of wrinkles which in turn prevents the aging process. Acetyl hexapeptide-3, also known as, Argireline, is a commonly used amino acid found in many of the anti-aging products sold on the market today. Palmitoyl hentapeptide-3 is used to leave a smooth and elastic aspect to the skin. This ingredient is also known as Matrixyl which works below the surface of the skin to stimulate fibroblasts which in turn produce collagen while at the same time strengthening the skin’s surface. Lastly, this product contains Sodium hyaluronate. Sodium hyaluronate, more commonly referred to as, hyluronic acid, hydrates the collagen and elastin fibers in the dermis of the skin. Collagen is essential to maintaining the skin’s elasticity. This ingredient provides the skin with a moisturizing aspect which in turn claims to give the appearance of youthful skin.

The Good

  • BTSes Anti-Wrinkle Serum contains some of the commonly used anti-aging ingredients found on the market today.
  • BTSes Anti-Wrinkle Serum is available for purchase on-line.
  • SeSDerma Laboratories has been in business for approximately 17 years.
  • SeSDerma invites customers to email the company directly to address any specific skin care concerns that may not have been answered on the website.

The Bad

  • SeSDerma’s official website offers no scientific analysis or data relating to any of its products.
  • SeSDerma’s official website offers no testimonials or endorsements from dermatologists.
  • SeSDerma does not focus on developing any one product, thus it may not be as committed to its anti-aging line to the same degree as other manufacturers that specifically focus on anti-aging.
  • SeSDerma’s official website does not contain any offers for free samples.
  • SeSDerma’s official website does not offer a money back guarantee.

The Bottom Line

SeSDerma does not appear to focus its research and development efforts on any one of its several products. Specifically, SeSDerma does not market itself as being a leader in the development of anti-aging skin treatments. While BTSes Anti-Wrinkle Serum does contain some useful anti-aging ingredients, the concentration of which is not revealed, nor is the scientific research that went into the development of this product. Because SeSDerma does not offer samples of any of its products, customers are asked to purchase an anti-aging product whose integrity and development information leave potential customers guessing.
