Sjal Kura Intuitif face cream is marketed as one of the most luxurious face creams on the market. It is definitely a face cream at the higher price range compared to the others that we’ve looked at. The manufacturers say that it helps heal, and repair damaged and dehydrated skin. They also say that it is great for mature skin as it reduces capillaries and dark circles, as well as eliminating deep lines, wrinkles and pigmentation. The manufacturers of Sjal Kura Intuitif face cream state that each essential product in the line is made from over forty five hand selected, globally sourced and pharmaceutically grade ingredients. The manufacturers of the Sjal Kura Intuitif cream say that what makes it special is that it is infused with Eastern precious minerals, nano gold and gem stones for bio osmotic energy. They say that it does not include any petroleum jelly, caffeine or alcohol.

Product Details

Sjal Kura Intuitif face cream is priced at $255. According to the manufacturers it has a huge celebrity following including such glam stars as Sophie Dhal, Heidi Klum, Sarah Jessica Parker and Naomi Watts. The ingredients in the cream include marine vascular complex, mulberry, bearberry, koijic acid, arnica, pearl powder extract, quinoa, borage, shea, beta gluan, mango butter, tetra, penta peptides, gold, silver and sjal rejuva complex. The manufacturers proudly say that it does not contain any alcohol, caffeine or petroleum jelly, but of course nowadays many face creams do not contain these ingredients so this fact by itself does not really distinguish it from other anti-wrinkle and anti-aging creams on the market. The fact that there is gold in this product does not distinguish it from other anti aging creams either; other face creams at the luxury high price end of the anti-wrinkle market and also in the medium price range now contain gold. This product does of course contain ingredients which are known to be good for the skin and have soothing properties, such as arnica, peptides and borage, but other face creams also include such ingredients. This product is available to purchase at online shops and in major retail department stores.

The Good

• This product is endorsed by celebrity spokesmodels.
• Product is available to order online, be beware of shady “discount” dealers who could be offering counterfit products at lower prices.
• Product contains some natural ingredients.

The Bad

• There does not seem to be an official website for Sjal products.
• This product is extremely expensive.
• The cream contains koijic acid, which has been shown to have irritating effects in some studies.
• While it sounds impressive, there is very little evidence that gold has any anti-aging properties as a topical application.

The Bottom Line

The manufacturers focus on the fact that this cream supposedly has a massive celebrity following to market and sell the line. Indeed this may be true, and perhaps there are a number of celebrities who buy this cream, but in our review we are more concerned with whether this cream really does do what the manufacturers says it does. We are certainly not going to recommend that you spend $255 on this cream, unless we are provided with very substantial clinical proof that it will eliminate your wrinkles and deep lines, and until this time this evidence has not been posted to the official webiste. Unfortunately the ordinary woman does not have the financial means that celebrities do, and aside from the inclusion of gold, we saw little to differentiate this product from more affordable alternatives.
